Requirements
Must have:
- We require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance, with willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph. - We require a bachelors degree in computer science or another related technical discipline. - We seek at least 8 years of hands-on software development experience, including design, development, and implementation. - We need strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages. - We require experience with extracting, transforming, visualizing, and analyzing large datasets. - We need solid experience working in Linux-based environments. - We require background in designing and supporting cloud architectures, including AWS and C2S environments. - We seek experience building and sustaining applications in cloud computing environments. - We require experience with NoSQL platforms such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or comparable technologies. - We need demonstrated ability to lead small engineering teams and contribute both independently and collaboratively. - We value a strong problem-solving approach, adaptability, and the ability to apply emerging technologies to mission challenges. - We require familiarity with modern development tools, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. - We require experience working in Agile development environments. - Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments. - Preferred: knowledge of GIS tools, geospatial data processing, and visualization methods. - Preferred: experience using open-source technologies in government computing settings.
Responsibilities:
- We design and deliver efficient, adaptable solutions that scale for mission-critical use cases. - We participate across the full development lifecycle, from planning and requirements definition through design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance. - We apply software engineering standards and disciplined processes to build high-quality, extensible, and maintainable systems. - We use cloud technologies to extract, transform, manipulate, and visualize geospatial and temporal datasets. - We develop analytics and derivative data products that help users uncover actionable insight. - We troubleshoot issues proactively and use a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem solving. - We work directly with users across the IC and DoD to understand mission needs and recommend technical solutions. - We collaborate closely with engineers, clients, and end users from diverse teams. - We work full time onsite in support of customer missions.
