What You'll Do
- Construct precise, well-structured reasoning logs that walk through sophisticated technical problems from start to finish
- Document sequential decision-making workflows --- how you strategize, select tools, and adapt your approach
- Generate high-quality training data that shows AI models what expert-level problem-solving actually looks like
- Audit and refine AI-generated reasoning chains to identify gaps, errors, or logical inconsistencies
- Demonstrate proficient tool use across complex ML and engineering scenarios
- Work independently and asynchronously --- fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Professional background in Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
- Exceptional ability to articulate complex reasoning and methodologies in a clear, structured way
- Strong critical thinking skills --- you can evaluate a line of logic and spot exactly where it goes wrong
- Comfortable working independently on intellectually demanding, task-based assignments
- Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant technical field
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and how they're trained or fine-tuned
