Role :Marketing \& Ecommerce Manager

Hybrid working

Our client is a well-established, founder-led Australian fashion/ lifestyle brand with a loyal following and a fast-growing footprint, they're searching for a senior marketing leader to take the reins of their full marketing function as the business enters its next big growth chapter, including a new push into the US market.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership position for someone who can move comfortably between big-picture strategy and the day-to-day details.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll take ownership of the full marketing mix - eCommerce, performance, lifecycle and brand -and be accountable for the commercial results that follow.
  • You'll also be the lead architect of the brand's US launch strategy, taking it from the ground up through to scale.
  • You'll have a small leadership team reporting to you across performance marketing, CRM, social, PR/influencer and web, and you'll partner closely with a content lead who owns creative production.
  • Setting and owning marketing strategy across paid acquisition, lifecycle/CRM, ecommerce platform optimisation, influencer, PR and events.
  • Leading the go-to-market plan for a new international market from initial launch through to growth at scale.
  • Managing and developing a multi-disciplinary marketing team, plus external agency relationships.
  • Owning the marketing P\&L - building it, reporting on it, and defending it.
  • Using trading and performance data to find and act on commercial opportunities.

Background

  • 6-8 years of marketing/ecommerce experience, with at least 3 years at manager or senior manager level.
  • A track record of driving commercial growth inside a fast-scaling, direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Hands-on experience launching or scaling a brand into a new international market -US market experience is highly valued.
  • Confidence working across the modern marketing stack (ecommerce platforms, email/CRM platforms, paid social and search, analytics.)
  • Experience owning influencer, PR and events strategy at a senior level, not just running the day-to-day.
