What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated writing for clarity, tone, accuracy, and structure
- Make nuanced editorial decisions on complex or ambiguous content
- Review and refine content for consistency across large-scale writing projects
- Provide detailed, structured feedback with clear rationale for suggested edits
- Uphold high editorial standards across a variety of content types and topics
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Advanced English writing and editing experience --- you can spot what's off and articulate why
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong editorial judgment
- Comfortable making high-stakes decisions around wording, structure, and style
- Able to work independently on complex, nuanced tasks without heavy supervision
- Master's Degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, or a related discipline preferred
- Based in the United States
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in professional editing, content strategy, or publishing
- Experience with quality assurance or editorial review workflows
- Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago, MLA, etc.)
