Requirements


Must have:

- We require a bachelors degree in Electrical, Computer, or Controls Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - We are looking for 3+ years of experience in embedded controls, embedded software, or real-time systems. - We need strong proficiency in C/C++, RTOS-based development, and low-level firmware programming. - We require experience with digital control of industrial power converters. - We need hands-on experience with microcontrollers or DSPs. - We require familiarity with hardware-level components such as ADCs, PWMs, timers, and interrupts. - We expect a solid understanding of power electronics and control theory. - We require the ability to use standard lab equipment and debugging tools in a hardware environment. - Experience with embedded web servers and web interface development is considered an advantage. - We are looking for someone who can support occasional travel of up to 10%.

Responsibilities:


  • We design, develop, and validate embedded control firmware for industrial digital power electronics systems. - We build real-time control software for systems using SCRs and IGBTs to deliver regulated AC and DC output power. - We architect firmware for MCUs, DSPs, or FPGAs using C/C++ or similar low-level programming languages. - We implement control algorithms for voltage, current, power, and thermal regulation in digitally controlled power converters. - We create firmware-level protection, monitoring, and diagnostic functions to improve reliability in industrial environments. - We collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and product teams to define software requirements and interface specifications. - We participate in technical design reviews and contribute to documentation, coding standards, and version control practices. - We support product validation, manufacturing transfer activities, and field troubleshooting when needed. - We debug complex embedded systems in the lab and work directly with live hardware. - We engage in cross-functional problem-solving to ensure software integrates effectively with high-power hardware.
