The Role
- Develop and optimize existing and future digital products and backend services
- Select appropriate backend technologies, implement technical solutions, and identify optimization potential for code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Support the maintenance and further development of existing platform solutions
- Drive the technical evolution of backend systems for digital applications
- Conduct fault analysis and structured debugging processes
- Integrate internal backend services and automate processes
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
What You'll Need
- Several years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, including current responsibilities at a senior level
- Excellent knowledge of backend technologies (PHP, Java)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated tests, and DevOps tooling, ideally in an Azure environment
- Strong user-centric mindset for planning, implementation, review, and testing of features
- Good communication skills and assertiveness
