Requirements
Must have:
- We require a bachelors degree in Education, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field. - We require 2--4 years of experience in K--12 academic reporting, assessment analysis, or data quality review. - We need demonstrated skill in analyzing and segmenting student performance data by subgroup, such as grade level or cohort. - We require advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, lookups, formulas, filtering, and pivot tables. - We value experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or a comparable platform. - We expect the ability to turn complex analysis into practical recommendations for non-technical audiences. - We require strong written and verbal communication skills. - We prefer candidates with experience in a K--12 school, charter school, district, or education nonprofit setting.
Responsibilities:
- We analyze interim and summative assessment results to inform instruction and strengthen school performance strategy. - We disaggregate student data by grade, cohort, and priority groups to uncover achievement patterns and trends. - We build and maintain standards-aligned and longitudinal views of student growth and performance. - We review college acceptance, matriculation, and retention data to support alumni and postsecondary planning. - We partner with school teams, network leaders, and student support staff to align interventions, actions, and resource decisions with data insights. - We conduct data quality checks and cross-validate outputs across dashboards and reports. - We lead and support seasonal academic processes, including rostering, assessment cycles, summer school operations, and grant-related reporting. - We ensure documentation is complete and maintained for compliance and historical reference. - We provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Infinite Campus and related systems during high-volume periods. - We resolve issues involving access, configuration, scheduling, grading workflows, and roster updates. - We support start-of-year and end-of-year readiness, including new school year builds and connected system setup. - We monitor system performance, data integrity, and user permissions, escalating high-risk issues when needed. - We manage intake and triage for data requests and operational tasks such as access management and staff data support. - We create and maintain SOPs, help guides, and knowledge base resources. - We identify recurring problems and help develop scalable solutions through templates, macros, and automation.
